Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, which made a total of 715 million dollars, dominated the box office for past couple of weeks. The question is, did Harry Potter really deserve to be in the box office? Being an avid Harry Potter fan myself, I went to find out.
So why don’t we start off with the good pointers of the movie. Let me begin with the acting. Personally I felt that the actors did a good job portraying the characters from the book, and you could feel the emotions throughout the scenes. I would also like to include that I felt that the movie moved along at a good pace, not too fast to follow but not so slow as to bore a viewer either. The film stayed fairly close to the book’s storyline throughout.
The movie also seemed to grab my attention and never let go, it never felt boring. I also felt like the movie kept me on edge, wondering what was going to happen next. And with an ending that kept me wondering what would happen in Part 2. Another detail that I enjoyed was that the movie seemed to have something for everybody, comedy, romance, action, and suspense.
Now let me move on to the details about the movie that I didn’t enjoy. Personally the music had no connection to the movie at all. It was basically pointless and didn’t seem to move with the scenes. And there was one scene that I didn’t enjoy, throughout the movie. In this scene it seemed as though there could be something between Harry and Hermione when after all, they’re just friends.
Other than that I really enjoyed the movie and recommend it to anyone, unless of course you aren’t into fantasy movies. So back to my question, did Harry Potter deserve to be in the top box office? Yes, I feel that it does. So after reading this review hopefully you’ll be able to tell that you won’t be wasting your money paying to see this movie, you’ll actually be getting a good deal. So don’t waste time, because Harry Potter is worth it.

No duh they did a good job, they have been doing it for 7 movies by now! And how is a 7 movie series not going to make it to the box office? It’s one of the most aclaimed series of all times.
